例如：有一次我應內人要求測試文字易經姓名學的玄妙，要從一堆病人名單中圈選出頭部生病的病人名字。我挑選後，內人看了嚇一跳，因為內人退休前正服務於這家台灣大型醫院的兒童腦部專科，而被我圈選到的都是她的病人，也就是腦部有施行手術的病人。
為什麼我可以圈選得這麼準確？
因為這些名字裡大多有以下這幾個字：冠、元、道、首、頁、白、酉、穎、宇……。

而這幾個字的共通性就是字型上都有一個頂在上面的「頭」，譬如冠的「冖」、元的「一」、宇的「宀」、頁的「一」、道的「丷」等等，如果這時候名字中再出現一個有血刀劍部首的字(也就是具有殺傷力的字)，那麼配上象徵頭部的字，就代表頭部開刀的機率非常高。

那麼為什麼名字會影響一個人的個性或是一生運勢呢？
這就要從中國文字的起源來說明。古人為了要向老天爺禱告或是祭祀祖先而將一些符號刻在龜甲上，其後倉頡整理了這些符號後才歸納出文字的雛形，而直到秦始皇統一中國的時候將文字雛形定型，逐漸演變成現在正規的楷書。所以說中國文字其實一開始就是敬天驅鬼的符咒。

既然中國文字一開始就是卜卦或問神的用途，也就是說中國文字是會靈動的，而姓名若用中國文字來取，一個人的名字自然也會隨著這些文字靈動，也就會影響到一個人的個性及命運了。

那麼這個影響力大不大呢？
試想名字是旁人對你的稱呼，不只是見你一次叫一次，在別處談起這個名字時也是用來指你這個人，於是我常說名字就是最好的符咒，名字如果取得好，旁人叫你就是祝福，對別人談起你時也是祝福。你的名字如果取得好，旁人叫你一聲就是肯定你一次，再叫你一次就是恭喜你一次，這樣的名字才能得到文字的深刻祝福。

這也是為什麼古代帝王都有專屬的字來代表帝王的稱號，而且一般人不得使用，也就是古人所謂的「避諱」之舉。因為這些原本普通的「字」在君王用來命名之後，也就被賦予了某種神聖性，並專屬於天家之用。

所以說在中國人源遠流長的智慧裡，「取一個好名字」不僅會影響一生的盛衰榮辱，也對運勢有重大影響。

近代坊間最盛行的姓名學，多源自臺灣光復初期時由日本傳入、以筆畫數為基礎的「熊崎氏姓名學」，另有許多宣稱從生肖、八字、易經、五行等路數變化而來的學說，這些學說各有其擁護者。

雖說以筆畫數或生肖等等為基準的學說看似簡潔易懂，但其實坊間姓名學專書卻又很難清晰地將其中道理說明清楚，再加上各派姓名學有各式各樣的分支，簡直形成群魔亂舞的局面，若一般讀者不理解中國文字原理，反而容易陷入似是而非的陷阱裡。

我常常看到許多父母疼愛小孩，花了大錢替新生兒取了一個颯爽剛毅的名字，但卻偏偏很大的機率是三才帶罡，小孩輕則一生辛苦，重則有血光之災，正所謂愛之卻害之呀！

但相反的，若一個人有了吉祥的名字，大家都這麼稱呼你，讓眾口鑠金的力量藉由名字來祝福你、恭喜你，被人祝福恭喜久了，那麼你的人生當然會越來越好！

解密姓名中的奧祕！
這八個步驟分別是：

1.字部無罡
就是在名字中盡量不要有干擾或殺傷力的字形或部首，也就是不要看到刀、刃、血之類的字。

2.八字納音
這是看你的「出生年」，找出對應的五行；接著再搭配已有的姓，挑選五行合宜的吉字取名。

3.五行齊全
然後再檢查確認這三字的五行搭配是否合宜，最好是不多不少，而不是缺金就猛給金，要搭配得宜對當事人益處才是最大。

4.三才生剋有據
「三才」，也就是姓名中的「天、人、地」三格，這三格也要安置妥當。

5.形聲響亮
好的名字也要好聽好唸，才能讓原先設定的美好寓意發揮出來，也才能真正發揮「姓名是最好的符咒」的效果！

6.會意圓滿
名字除了好聽之外，還要有個美好的意思，而非只是單純拼湊出來的字。

7.抽爻換卦
這個就有點難度，讀者朋友可以認真細讀這個部分，簡單來說就是將姓名中的部首、字形重新拆解組合，新組合的字也要有吉祥的寓意，不然也是不及格！

8.加持祝福
最後，就是要讓大家知道這個名字，讓大家一起幫你「唸或寫你的吉名」來祝福你。很多人改了名卻不肯用，自然也就無法得到祝福，實在是太可惜了！
